Shaun Mark "Sean" Bean born 17 April 1959 is an English film and stage actor. Sean Bean is best known for starring roles in the films Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, GoldenEye, Patriot Games, Troy, National Treasure and Silent Hill, as well as the television series Sharpe. Sean Bean has also acted in a number of television productions, most recent being HBO's Game of Thrones, as well as performing voice work for computer games and television adverts. As a boy, Sean Bean ran with his local street gangs, but turned to boxing in his teenage years. Aimless and discontent, Sean Bean worked in the cheese department at a supermarket, and eventually as a welder in his father's shop. He was 20 when he signed up for his first acting class, and friends thought the idea was so out of character they teasingly suggested he might be gay. Soon, however, Sean Bean was a working actor in local stage productions, and soon after that he was finished with selling cheese. At 24 he landed his first film role, the rarely-seen Winter Flight, and for the next few years he worked on both stage and screen.

In 1988, the 27-year-old Sean Bean starred opposite Tommy Lee Jones, Melanie Griffith, and Sting in the gangster flick Stormy Monday. Through the mid-1990s, he played a cocky British military officer, Richard Sharpe, in a series of fourteen British TV movies based on the novels of Bernard Cornwell (Sharpe's Honour, Sharpe's Company). In America, Sean Bean has mostly been cast in spy movies and cop roles. He has menaced Harrison Ford in Patriot Games and James Bond in GoldenEye. In the Lord of the Rings trilogy, he played Boromir of Gondor. Bean married and divorced Abigail Cruttenden, who played his wife in the Sharpe TV movies.

Catherine Elizabeth Mountbatten-Windsor, Duchess of Cambridge usually known as Kate Middleton, born Catherine Elizabeth Middleton on 9 January 1982 is the wife of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. Their wedding took place on 29 April 2011. Catherine grew up in Chapel Row at Bucklebury, a village near Newbury, Berkshire, and studied in Scotland at the University of St Andrews, where she met Prince William in 2001. They started a romantic relationship that continued until a break-up lasting for several months in 2007. However, they continued to be friends and rekindled their relationship later that year.

Prior to her wedding, the Duchess attended many high-profile royal events. She has been admired for her fashion sense[citation needed] and has been placed on numerous "best dressed" lists. Once their relationship became public, Catherine received widespread media attention and there was much speculation that she and Prince William would eventually marry. On 16 November 2010 the office of the Prince at Clarence House announced their engagement, with details announced one week later. Catherine Middleton married Prince William on 29 April 2011 (Feast Day of Saint Catherine of Siena) at Westminster Abbey.

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge KG FRS (born William Arthur Philip Louis on 21 June 1982) is the elder son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana, Princess of Wales, and third eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He is second in the line of succession, behind his father, to the thrones of sixteen independent sovereign states known as the Commonwealth realms: the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, and Saint Kitts and Nevis. Consequently, he is also second in line, again behind his father, to the position of Head of the Commonwealth (figurehead of the 54-member Commonwealth of Nations) and Supreme Governor of the Church of England.

He was commissioned as a lieutenant in the Blues and Royals regiment of the Household Cavalry—serving with his brother Prince Harry—and, two years later, earned his wings by completing pilot training at Royal Air Force College Cranwell. In 2009, the Prince transferred to the Royal Air Force, was promoted to flight lieutenant and underwent helicopter flying training in order to become a full time pilot with the Search and Rescue Force. In Autumn 2010, he completed his general and special-to-type helicopter training and he is now at RAF Valley on No. 22 Squadron performing co-pilot duties on the Sea King search and rescue helicopter. On 16 November 2010 it was announced by Clarence House that Prince William and his long-term girlfriend Kate Middleton would marry on 29 April 2011 in Westminster Abbey, London. Hours prior to his wedding Prince William was created Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus. Prince William married Catherine Middleton on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey.

Anna Helene Paquin born July 24, 1982 is a Canadian-born New Zealand actress. Paquin's first critically successful film was The Piano, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1994 at the age of 11 – the second youngest winner in history. Her acting career took off almost half a decade later when she appeared in a string of successful films including She's All That, Almost Famous and the X-Men franchise.

Anna Paquin has received critical acclaim for her role as Sookie Stackhouse in the HBO series True Blood, for which she won the 2008 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Drama. Anna Paquin is the star of several major motion pictures, including her first Oscar winning performance in The Piano (1993), the role of the young Jane in the 1996 film Jane Eyre (1996), and the role of Amy Alden in the charming family film, Fly Away Home (1996). With a well-developed vocabulary and gentle sense of humor, Anna Paquin proves herself to be the most enchanting young talent working today. Anna Paquin's rising stardom has often been a cause of charming media shyness, where it is obvious that she is an ordinary girl who happens to posses an extraordinary talent. She has two agents, Gail Cowan in New Zealand, and the William Morris agency in Los Angeles, but neither these nor her parents have much influence in deciding what she films. "In the end", she says, "it's my decision". Anna Paquin's parents separated while she was filming Fly Away Home (1996) in Canada. On Oscar night in 1993, Anna Paquin was the surprise (and surprised) winner of the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She stood, wide-eyed and gulping for breath at the microphone for a full twenty-something-odd seconds before delivering a gracious, though rather breathless thank-you speech.
